Dear Friend,
My name is Ellie Stailey and I am a 21 year old gal from Colorado, living on the East Coast with my heart in the nations of the world. I am a full-time missionary and am living to see His kingdom established on the earth.
My journey started as a young teenager when the Lord gripped my heart for seeing revival in every corner of the earth. I used to daydream about literal streets filled with worship and prayer, signs and wonders breaking out in every neighborhood, stadiums filled with young people hungry for Jesus, etc... And then at a TheCall conference in 2007 God broke my heart with the reality of injustices in the world. From that weekend on I would weep in bed at night as He showed me His heart for the young girls forced into sex trafficking, or the millions of unborn babies that are being murdered, or the countless starving orphans around the world that have never had a home.
After high school I did 3 years of ministry school in Redding, CA at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry. It was there that the Lord showed me how my passion for revival, worship and intercession, and justice all were a part of Him calling me to the nations. During my time in the school, I got to go on two missions trips - one to Mozambique, Africa and the other to Quito, Ecuador. On both trips, the Lord continued to burn my heart for His children who are victims of injustice all over the world.
After living in Redding, I did an 8-month internship in Ecuador with Global Children's Movement. We worked with youth in youth prisons, girls rescued out of sex trafficking, children on the streets, prostitutes in the red-light district, among other things. In Ecuador, I got first hand experience on what it looks like to live out God's heart of justice in daily life. Whether it was speaking in a youth meeting or holding one girl in my arms as she wept, God taught me that love looks like something. You can talk about justice all day long, raise awareness and stir the people up with passionate sermons, but it is all empty without actually doing something yourself. Faith without works is dead. I also learned the power of intercession and worship in shifting atmospheres. God showed me that He wants to intentionally place me in areas that are considered "dark" so that I can change the culture through the light that lives in me.
My journey has now lead me to Harrisburg, PA where I am working with The Burn 24/7. The Burn 24/7 is a combination of:
- Local Burn Furnaces - A grassroots movement of local musicians, intercessors and worshipers gathering across denominational and ethnic boundaries in over 80 cities around the world for consecrated periods of 24, 48 and up to 100 hours of vertical, davidic and passionate worship and prayer.
- Explosive Outreach - Releasing the fire of God, ignited during endless hours in His presence, into every sphere of society, through strategic, evangelistic strikes on the city, carrying the burden for revival and becoming the light of the world!
- Global Impact - Global mission teams carrying the impartation of the Burn are sent out to the darkest corners of the earth to plant Burn furnaces and to release the indigenous sound of each nation.
- Authentic Discipleship - Internships, schools, global and regional summits are functioning around the world to fulfill one vision: To mobilize and raise up an army of worshiping revivalists who carry the message of the Cross with urgency and blazing fervor.
